September 9th, 2005 - News Release - HIBBING RANGERS SET TO DEFEND TITLE AT MINNESOTA POWERHOCKEYT LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT.

August 10th, 2005 - SCHEDULE CHANGES:

Aug. 13th - Final Regular Season Games

Aug. 27th - Practice / Scrimmage day for all Twin Cities Teams (Games played will not count in the standings).

2:30 PM Hawks vs. Clash
1:15 PM Storm vs. Blaze

Sept. 3rd - CANCELLED.

Sept. 10th - MPHL Championship Day at the U of M.

October 16th, 2004: The Minnesota PowerHockey League completed its 8th regular season, and held its Championship Day tournament Sunday, October 3rd, at the Bierman Field Athletic Building on the campus of the University of Minnesota. The Hibbing Rangers won its first MPHL title by defeating the Hawks 7-3. The Rangers were led by Chris Kram's six goals and Mike Fosnot's goal and assist. The Hawks were led by Chad Wilson with two goals and Robert Miller's one goal. Congratulations to the 2004 MPHL Champion Hibbing Rangers. MPHL award winners for the 2004 season, as voted on by the league captains, are as follows:

Most Valuable Player: Josh Twite (Rochester Gladiators)
Most Improved Player: Robert Miller (Hawks)
Rookie of the Year: Chad Wilson (Hawks)
Defensive Player of the Year: Damon Leivestad (Clash)
Goaltender of the Year: Steve Onsum (Blaze)
Sportsmanship Award: Ray Rogers (Hibbing Rangers)


May 1st, 2003: Sign-up Day for the 2003 season will be held Saturday May 17, 2003 from 12pm-3pm. Registration costs $20. Use of a jersey and hockey stick for the season is included. We will be assigning players to teams, going over rules/policies and having a scrimmage game. We will also offer some skills clinics. So tell a friend and come join us!
